Job description

Prinston Pharmaceutical, Inc. is a vertically integrated U.S. pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and delivering high-quality, affordable medicines. Headquartered in Somerset, New Jersey, we operate a seamless end-to-end model through our specialized subsidiaries: Solco Healthcare (Sales & Marketing) and Prinston Lab (Manufacturing, based in Charlotte, NC).

Supported by the global manufacturing excellence of our parent company, Huahai Pharmaceuticals, and a robust network of partners in India and beyond, we maintain a resilient and diversified supply chain. By combining global scale with rigorous quality standards, we optimize our operations to ensure patients have reliable access to the medicine they need.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Accountant to join our Cost Accounting function and play a critical role in supporting financial visibility and cost control across manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product costing, inventory tracking, and cost reporting. • Analyze inventory adjustments and cost variances; identify anomalies and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Participate in month-end close activities, including gross margin analysis and reconciliation of inventory-related accounts.
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow guidelines related to cost accounting processes.
  • Support the preparation and consolidation of data for the annual budgeting process.
  • Provide ERP system support to internal users for inventory-related transactions and reporting.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably with inventory and cost accounting exposure in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other database tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred) and financial analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
