Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our engineering-focused team in Carrollton, GA. This on-site, permanent position involves leading journal entries, GAAP compliance, and monthly to annual financial reporting. You will collaborate with the finance group to optimize processes and support audits.

The ideal candidate has at least five years' corporate accounting experience, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and excellent communication and organization abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in the Engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and related regulations.
• Ability to create and maintain journal entries and perform reconciliations.
• Analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and forecast.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with financial reporting and accounting software.

Responsibilities
