Job summary

Wintermeyer Ventures in California seeks a senior accounting professional to lead US and international accounting, partnering with the Controller to ensure accurate reporting, robust financial processes, and audit-ready records.

You will manage AP/AR, payroll, GL, close international entities, prepare statements, reconcile accounts, and support intercompany consolidations in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5–8 years accounting experience including 2–3 years in full-cycle accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.

About the Role

Join the accounting function at an AI and robotics company as its primary accounting resource for US and international operations. You will partner with the Controller to support accurate reporting, reliable financial processes, and audit-ready records.

What You'll Do

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Lead month-end close processes for international entities and support full-cycle accounting.
• Prepare financial statements, complete reconciliations, and maintain documentation in accordance with US GAAP.
• Support intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license.
• Five to eight years of hands-on accounting experience, including at least two to three years in full-cycle accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, accrual accounting, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and reconciliation tools.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth company, with intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidation experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $120,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
