Position Overview
Our client is seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team in Buford, GA.
This role will own key areas of general ledger accounting, month‑end close, cost accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting while also playing an important role in an upcoming ERP integration.

What You’ll Do
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform P&L and financial flux analyses.
- Support accurate, timely, and audit‑ready financial reporting.
- Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Maintain and analyze standard costs and cost variances.
- Support inventory valuation and product cost accounting.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to identify and analyze cost drivers.
- Participate in ERP implementation, integration, and migration projects.
- Support data migration, testing, troubleshooting, and process design.
- Help ensure accurate data flow between accounting systems and other business functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes.Develop and document scalable accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
- Support financial analysis and special projects as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong hands‑on experience with general ledger accounting and month‑end close.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Experience with record‑to‑report and/or cost accounting.
- Direct experience participating in an ERP implementation, integration, or migration.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with both finance and non‑finance teams.
- Must be comfortable working fully onsite in Buford, GA.
Preferred Experience
- CPA or actively working toward CPA certification.
- Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
- Cost accounting and standard costing experience.
- Inventory accounting experience.
- Experience working within a small, growing, or lean finance organization.
- Accounting process improvement and automation experience.
