Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing healthcare technology organization in Boca Raton to identify a Senior Accountant for its accounting and finance team. This hands-on role focuses on two operating companies, with opportunities to grow into budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and broader FP&A responsibilities within a lean, Excel-driven environment.

You’ll own day-to-day accounting and collaborate with finance leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of debits and credits.
• Experience supporting month-end close.
• Experience with accruals and account reconciliations.
• Hands-on AP and AR experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Comfortable working with larger datasets and analyzing financial information.
• Ability to work independently in a lean, changing environment.
• Comfortable supporting multiple businesses and balancing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities, including preparation of key accruals.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Generate and support customer invoicing.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations.
• Support general ledger accuracy and accounting operations.
• Assist with cash management and treasury activities, including ACH and wire transactions.
• Support financial reporting and analysis.
• Work across two separate operating companies.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and investigate discrepancies.
• Manipulate and analyze financial data using Excel.
• Assist with process improvements and accounting system administration.
• Partner directly with finance leadership on ad hoc accounting and analytical projects.
• Over time, gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and broader FP&A responsibilities.

This is a hands‑on accounting role supporting two growing businesses within a broader portfolio environment. The position will work closely with finance leadership and offers significant opportunity to expand into budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and other finance responsibilities over time.

The environment is lean, fast‑moving, and highly Excel‑driven, so the ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, be comfortable working independently, and enjoy taking ownership of day‑to‑day accounting processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare, healthcare technology, pharmacy/PBM, or related industry experience
• Experience in a smaller, high‑growth, or entrepreneurial organization
• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, or financial modeling exposure
• QuickBooks, Bill.com, Ramp, or similar accounting systems experience
• Experience improving accounting processes

Compensation & Schedule

• 10–20% bonus opportunity
• Hybrid schedule — generally 1–2 days onsite in Boca Raton

Please note that certain twice‑monthly invoicing deadlines must be completed regardless of weekends or holidays. On the limited occasions when these dates fall on a weekend or holiday, approximately 3–4 hours of work may be required.
