Job summary

Bridgepoint Consulting, an Addison Group company, seeks Senior Accountants to join our Austin-based team. You will support clients on interim and project-based accounting needs, including monthly close, reporting, and reconciliations, working onsite at client locations.

We value strong communication, CPA/CPA-track candidates, and experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and SaaS industries. This role offers a mix of full-time and part-time opportunities in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience (Big Four & public accounting experience a plus).
• Industry experience within private equity, technology, software/SaaS
• Revenue recognition highly preferred
• Has experience with monthly close procedures as well as monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Has prepared monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Recent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and cash management
• Hands-on experience with accounting softwares (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct), along with moderate - advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
• Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization both written and verbally
• B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or Finance required, CPA a plus

Responsibilities

• Support clients on interim and project-based accounting needs.
• Contribute to monthly close processes and financial reporting.
• Assist with reconciliations and cash management as part of client engagements.
• Provide onsite accounting support at client locations and collaborate with client teams.

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Accountants who want to join an amazing team of talented Consultants, tasked with supporting our clients for a wide range of interim and project-based Accounting needs.

Our clients consist of a variety of small to mid-sized companies based in the Austin (and greater Central-Texas) area. Our professional Consultants provide services onsite at the client's location and function as part of their teams throughout the duration of each project.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA
• Prior employment by a Big Four or other nationally recognized accounting firms
