Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including agency or in-house communications roles.
• Experience in financial communications with a focus in private markets is preferred.
• Strong media relations expertise with established journalist relationships and ability to secure high-impact media coverage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to develop strategic messaging and thought leadership content.
• Strong project management skills with a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of communications plans and goals, including development of both tactical and strategic elements.
• Proven ability to lead large projects and teams on sizable accounts.
• Create, drive and execute strategic media relations programs.
• Demonstrate understanding of clients' businesses, stakeholders, and translate this to account teams.
• Set client program goals and manage against them.
• Provide clear written and verbal communications and delegate tasks effectively.
• Serve as daily client contact and client lead.
• Oversee quality and timeliness of work and budget reporting.
• Supervise staff with coaching and feedback.
