Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a motivated sales representative to acquire new residential customers in MDUs through door-to-door outreach in the United States. You will target properties with 50+ doors and work toward strong sales performance targets.

Base pay is $27,600–$45,800 with generous incentives; top performers can exceed $100,000 in total compensation. You’ll enjoy Spectrum services at no or reduced cost as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in sales or customer service.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Understanding of communications technologies and data networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services.
• Proven success in sales, prospecting or cold calling.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales targets within the assigned MDU portfolio.
• Door-to-door outreach to acquire new residential customers in 50+ door properties.
• Generate incremental revenue by adding Spectrum services to existing customers.
• Respond to customer problems promptly and according to policy.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors’ activities and pricing.
• Attend sales meetings and training and apply learning to improve results.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately and timely.
• Collect and account for funds and provide receipts per policy.

HowYou’llMake an Impact

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Meet or exceed established monthly sales performance targets and penetration goals within the assigned MDU portfolio, as defined in the Standards of Sales Performance.
• Engage potential customers in non-bulk multi-dwelling unit properties with 50+ doors through door-to-door outreach toacquirenew residential customers
• Generate incremental revenue from existing customers by adding new oradditionalSpectrum services within assigned properties.
• Respond to customer problems and complaints according to established company policy, usingappropriate toolsand resources, andfollowthrough to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved.
• Maintain a well-informed knowledge base of competitors’ activities, pricing, and offers throughout the assigned territory, and inform the supervisor/manager of changing competitive programs or marketing directions.
• Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings and training programs; apply learning and feedback to improve individual sales results.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation to support sales activities, including dispositions, sales orders, and sales reporting, in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines and requiredtimeframes.
• Collect and account for funds and provide receipts according to Company policy and guidelines.

Working Conditions

• Spend approximately 80% of your time outdoors, walking door-to-door and lifting up to 20 pounds in various weather
• Work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, split days off and holidays

The base pay for this position generally is between $27,600.00 and $45,800.00.

The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $55,000.
