Position Overview

This leadership position is newly created to support our Proton Solutions Customers in the US.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Manages relationships with and sells to Varian Proton System customers throughout the territory for Varian’s Proton Solutions business line.
  • Manages ongoing commercial agreements for PS products with customers.
  • Works collaboratively with a team (legal, finance, commercial project management, marketing and Global Field Operations) to manage customer expectations and commercial contracts.
  • Works collaboratively with other business lines to ensure alignment on strategic and commercial objectives.
  • Will be a primary contact person for commercial, product and training issues in the region for Proton Solutions.
  • Responsible for the sales and marketing of upgrades and future Proton Solutions products in the region.
  • Be the primary contact person for all customer training activities related to VPS products.
  • Building productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Reporting directly to VP World Wide Sales and Commercialization, Varian Proton Solutions
  • Annual performance-based bonus plan will apply

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with medical device/medical technology and broad knowledge of the RT market.
  • Ability to negotiate and interpret commercial contracts for sales of upgrades and service as well as other related customer agreements.
  • Understand the needs of RT clinical services, with experience in RT related fields.
  • Experience within the radiation oncology and/or proton market
  • Collaborative approach to working with internal partners is essential
  • Well-developed written communications and presentations skills required
  • A minimum of 50% travel required including some international work.
  • Fluent in English.

Location flexible within the US East Coast.

The Annual Base Pay For This Position Is

Min $133,600 - Max $200,400

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many clients require Siemens Healthineers employees and representatives to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements before they will be allowed to have access to their sites. Unless prohibited by law, position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of employment in this position. These requirements vary by client and may include, but are not limited to: Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN) Criminal background checks Drug screens Immunizations (COVID-19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus) Annual TB testing Healthcare training.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
