Accenture Channel Business Development Executive, East Coast -State & Local Government
Avanade seeks a Business Development Manager who is a strategic seller and self-starter who can develop and win new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions. For this role, we are looking for people with experience in selling through channels and directly, digital transformation and consulting services (e.g. cloud implementation, business applications integration, etc.) to State & Local Government Clients.

Skills And Experiences
- Experience with solution selling to State & Local Government clients
- Specialized Experience in one or several of the following Government Sub-Industries: Transportation, Cities and Counties, Ports, Public Safety, Justice, Higher Education, Health & Human Services, Licensing, Permitting and Regulatory agencies
- Ability to drive an end-to-end sales process from origination to close in partnership with a matrixed account team
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor to Accenture leadership and the C-Suite in addressing our mutual clients’ business needs and expected goals and outcomes
- Proven ability to use customer feedback for continuous improvement
- Strategic mindset with a focus on overcoming obstacles, driving critical initiatives, amplifying and motivating a team and vision realization
- Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem and other partners to grow their book of business

What You'll Do
- Drive new and incremental Microsoft services focused revenue by enabling Accenture Government Account teams and participating in joint prospecting, acquisition, and development projects at targeted government agencies and higher education entities that are aligned with our Go to Market strategy
- Work with Accenture Account teams to build a qualified pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts
- Foster integration with Microsoft, other partners and the Accenture team to enhance client value
- Manage and expand strategic client relationships, including C-Suite engagements in partnership with Accenture
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients
- Originate and shape & qualify opportunities and support formal and informal procurements
- Drive account growth through innovative business development strategies and execution of comprehensive account planning
- Maintain State & Local Government knowledge including market trends, sub-industry business initiatives and drivers, contending offerings and current penetration of services and solution

Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 plus competitive pay mix
