Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Manager – Employee Benefits to lead client service, manage a team of Account Coordinators, and drive renewal activity under Producer direction.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, identify sales opportunities, ensure accuracy of plan data, and build strong carrier relationships while upholding IOA core values in a fast-paced benefits practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large workloads.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage book of business and meet performance requirements.
• Deliver outstanding client service and respond swiftly.
• Lead the account team and mentor coordinators.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators and monitor task execution.
• Identify sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Oversee new business setup, data gathering and client file creation.
• Manage renewals, verify client data, liaise with clients and carriers, and conduct meetings.
• Build and improve client relationships, seek feedback, implement improvements.
• Advocate for clients and carriers for beneficial outcomes.
• Identify and implement value-added solutions for clients.
• Compile, analyze, and report client plan performance data, maintain data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain positive carrier relationships.
• Support team training and promote a positive work environment.
• Maintain transparent communication with Producers and team members.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
• Champion IOA Values: demonstrate integrity and leadership.
