Job summary

Klickly seeks a Senior Account Manager to own and grow relationships with a portfolio of strategic brand partners. You will manage the full post-sale client experience from onboarding and launch through performance optimization, retention, renewal, and expansion.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Client Services, or consultative sales within eCommerce or digital advertising.
  • Experience managing and growing a portfolio of ecommerce merchants or strategic brand accounts.
  • Proven track record of retaining clients, expanding account revenue, and managing renewals.
  • Experience building relationships with C-level executives and navigating multiple decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret in-depth analyses and translate data into recommendations.
  • Excellent presentation and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of strategic client accounts and serve as primary contact with day-to-day stakeholders and executives.
  • Lead onboarding, implementation, launch, and ongoing account planning with clear timelines and goals.
  • Drive retention, renewals, and account growth by identifying expansion opportunities and proving Klickly’s ROI.
  • Monitor campaign and account performance; translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead regular client communications, performance reviews, and strategic business reviews.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Engineering, Finance, and other teams to resolve issues and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Identify risks early and manage escalations with urgency and sound judgment.
  • Maintain accurate client records, account plans, opportunities, and forecasts in HubSpot.

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

Klickly is seeking an intelligent, organized, charismatic, and highly motivated Senior Account Manager to own and grow relationships with a portfolio of strategic brand partners. This role is responsible for the full post-sale client experience, from onboarding and launch through performance optimization, retention, renewal, and expansion.

The ideal candidate combines strong relationship management with analytical and commercial judgment, can translate performance data into clear recommendations, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. This person will serve as the connective tissue between clients and Klickly’s internal teams while helping shape scalable account management processes. Five to seven years of relevant experience is desired. Passion for startups is a must.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Own a portfolio of strategic client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact, building trusted relationships with day-to-day stakeholders, senior leaders, and executive decision-makers.
  • Lead clients through onboarding, implementation, launch, and ongoing account planning, setting clear expectations, timelines, goals, and measures of success.
  • Drive retention, renewals, and account growth by understanding each client’s business objectives, identifying expansion opportunities, and clearly demonstrating Klickly’s value and ROI.
  • Monitor campaign and account performance, analyze trends, and translate data into proactive, actionable recommendations that improve outcomes for clients and the business.
  • Lead regular client communications, performance reviews, and strategic business reviews, delivering polished presentations and guiding productive conversations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Engineering, Finance, and other internal teams to resolve issues, coordinate deliverables, and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Identify risks early, create clear action plans, and manage escalations with urgency, sound judgment, and strong internal and external communication.
  • Maintain accurate and current client records, account plans, opportunities, activity, and forecasts in HubSpot, enabling efficient workflows and reliable reporting.
  • Track account health, revenue, retention, and expansion metrics; provide regular reporting and insights to senior management; and recommend adjustments based on performance.
  • Improve and document scalable account management processes, including onboarding, reporting, client communications, renewal planning, and workflow automation.
  • Develop deep expertise in Klickly’s platform and the broader eCommerce, consumer data, and digital advertising landscape to act as a credible strategic advisor to clients.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Five to seven years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Client Services, or consultative sales within eCommerce, online marketing, display advertising, affiliate marketing, or social marketing.
  • Experience managing and growing a portfolio of eCommerce merchants or strategic brand accounts.
  • Demonstrated success retaining clients, expanding account revenue, and managing renewals or other commercially meaningful client outcomes.
  • Experience building relationships with C-level executives and navigating multiple decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical ability, including experience interpreting in-depth analyses, uncovering actionable insights, and communicating recommendations to clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent presentation, written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized and process-oriented, with impeccable attention to detail and a methodical, consistent working style.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM and comfort using data to manage account health and priorities.
  • A highly motivated self-starter who can produce high-quality work under tight timelines in an exciting, fast-moving startup environment.
