The role blends relationship management with design and strategic account oversight on Long Island with occasional NYC travel. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in commercial furniture dealerships, strong CET/AutoCAD skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial furniture, dealership sales, account management, design, or related industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in CET, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of contract furniture lines and specification processes; familiarity with building codes and NEC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic account management.
• Create CET drawings, topicals, furniture plans, and renderings.
• Develop furniture specifications, finishes, and digital presentation materials.
• Prepare installation drawings and supporting documentation; conduct field measurements as needed.
• Coordinate with Sales Coordinators, Project Managers, and Design teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
• Travel throughout Long Island and periodically into NYC for meetings and site visits.
