Empire & Co. is seeking an experienced Senior Designer for our NYC Office to lead the development of innovative workplace design solutions for commercial clients. You will collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Client Services across the project lifecycle from programming to installation.

The role demands creative leadership, strong knowledge of commercial interiors and contract furniture, and the ability to manage multiple projects. CAD and presentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial contract furniture dealership experience.
• Strong proficiency in CET, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of workplace solutions from programming through project completion.
• Produce furniture plans, specifications, installation drawings, 3D renderings, and presentation materials.
• Develop space plans, furniture layouts, finish palettes, and digital presentation boards.
• Review and finalize drawings and specifications; mentor junior designers.
• Coordinate with sales and installation teams to maintain design intent.
