Role Overview

Copeland is seeking a motivated and technically skilled professional to join our Channel Services team as an Account Executive. This role involves contributing to our growth in the southeast region, working within the HVAC industry. You will strengthen relationships with authorized wholesalers and contractors, focusing on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration sectors such as Food Retail, Food Service, and Commercial/Residential Air Conditioning. Your responsibilities include driving product adoption, establishing trust with customers, and providing excellent customer service and technical expertise. This is a field-based position covering Georgia and North/South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets within your territory.
  • Provide technical support on Copeland products to wholesalers and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Participate in meetings, provide insights on product forecasts, and contribute to sales planning.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead training sessions to increase technical knowledge among customers.
  • Manage customer escalations and ensure positive experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
  • Identify new product opportunities to expand market presence.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in technical sales within Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, with knowledge of systems and components.
  • Preferably, prior experience as a refrigeration technician.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Technical understanding of Copeland and competitor products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Strong decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
