Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience (agency or fast-paced startup) preferably a generalist in lifestyle and consumer tech.
• Intellectually curious and a natural storyteller.
• Proven track record securing top-tier press placements with clips to prove.
• Skilled writer who crafts pitches and copy with clarity and cleverness.
• Love forging relationships with media, colleagues and clients.
• Comfortable leading client calls and providing strategic counsel.
• Creative thinker willing to take risks and push the envelope.
• Strong attention to detail and error-free work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute ideas for viral campaign moments with client leads and execute them.
• Craft pitches and media materials that yield 20–100 placements per idea.
• Write pitches, fact sheets, media briefs, press releases and more.
• Establish and maintain relationships with consumer media across print, digital, podcasts, substacks, and broadcast outlets.
• Develop strategies to earn placements in social media channels (e.g., TikTok).
• Mentor junior team members and support overall team growth.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to identify growth opportunities for clients and the team.
