Omnicom Public Relations is seeking a Consumer Tech Media Assistant Account Executive to join our team. You will partner with the account team to secure proactive and announcement-led earned media coverage for a Fortune 50 client, while supporting pitches and media lists for consumer tech stories.

The role emphasizes strong writing, media relations, and the ability to work with AI-driven PR workflows. A hybrid setup with work-from-home options is available, and candidates should be enthusiastic

Qualifications

1-2 years of PR experience for consumer brands.
Love for media and consumer tech; growing reporter relationships preferred.
Strong media relations with proactive pitching and top-tier placements.
Excellent writing and clear communication skills.
Familiarity with AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) and eagerness to apply to PR workflows.
Go-getter mindset & attitude; not afraid to pitch and build contacts.
Excellent verbal communication and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Partner with account team to secure proactive and announcement-led news coverage for the client.
Support media pitching with fresh story angles and pitches; draft pitches and media lists.
Develop understanding of the consumer tech media landscape.
Leverage generative AI and PR tools to streamline workflows, research, and drafting materials.
