Senior Account Executive

CAI Software, LLC, developers of mission critical, production-oriented software, is growing! Our industry-specific ERP Platforms drive gains in business efficiencies, help lower operating costs and maximize performance while addressing the unique challenges found in the seafood, lumber and building materials, precious metals, and other process and discrete manufacturing industries.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with strong software and solution selling experience. This individual will work with prospective CAI customers to manage deals from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

The Senior Account Executive at CAI Software will market and sell our Inventory Management Software for Quickbooks for our Acctivate business (https://acctivate.com). You will own the sales process start to finish to secure prospective customers across a variety of industries. This role works closely with the Marketing and Business Development teams to position our solutions to help solve prospective customers’ business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate as hunter B2B salesperson, meaning you will be expected to own new logo sales process beginning to end; selling to early-stage prospects, closing deals, and coordinating all aspects of the sales process.
  • Understand the SMB buyer and technology needs/complexities to recommend solutions and build ROI based business cases to close quickly
  • Navigate high urgency with multiple contacts in a companies during a 4-6 week sales cycle
  • Drive value-oriented discussions that focus on business outcomes and drive value and benefit for our customers.
  • High value add communications skills – quick to engage and quick to respond with substantial value and content
  • Ability to partner with BDR to nurture businesses who are not yet ready to purchase
  • Work closely with Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
  • Keep up to date records in CAI’s Customer Relationship Software platform, Contacts, Accounts, Leads, Opportunities, and Customer interactions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Software sales experience required; ERP experience strongly preferred.
  • Sales experience to the manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Understanding of the SMB buyer personas and experience selling to owners, as well as accounting and operations professionals
  • Experience working with a variety of marketing and sales systems.
  • Interest in working in a customer-focused, fast paced technology environment.
  • Outstanding communication and listening skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn, to react to and share lessons learned across the organization.
  • Good time management with strong organizational skills.
  • Acquire and apply new knowledge quickly and effectively.
  • Willingness / ability to travel (less than 20% of the time).
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Compensation / Benefits:

  • Target base salary of $50,000 with OTE potential up to $100,000
