Job summary

MCI USA, NYC-based experiential marketing agency, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to support loyalty programs and premium experiences for VIP brands across sports, entertainment, fashion, art and wellness. The role may involve luxury hospitality event logistics and general admin tasks.

We highly value hospitality expertise, client-centric on-site presence, and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute high-end experiential activations across sports, entertainment, fashion, art and wellness.
  • Develop creative presentations and client pitches with senior management.
  • Provide support to the experiential account team: research, meeting agendas/recaps, event data collection, ticket sales & revenue tracking, status reports, inventory organization.
  • Manage event collateral and documents: decks, transportation spreadsheets, production reports, trackers, training materials, guest lists, itineraries, invitations, signage, seating cards, tickets, recaps.
  • Coordinate with hotel properties, transportation companies, venues and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee marketing timelines and approvals, ensuring brand rules are followed.
  • Assist with budgeting, coding expenses, invoicing and payments.
  • Participate in client calls/meetings and on-site event management to ensure impeccable service.
  • Monitor industry trends and opportunities and propose improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge of agency structure and offerings and collaborate across teams.

JOB OBJECTIVE

Black Flower Agency, a NYC-based experiential marketing and events agency, and a key United States business unit of global company MCI Group (www.mci-group.com), is interviewing highly organized, energetic and hospitality experienced self-starting candidates with a strong understanding of hospitality, events, and the luxury lifestyle sector to fulfill a Senior Account Executive role. This position will work with a team that delivers on loyalty marketing programs and activations that provide exclusive premium experiences to brands most VIP consumers in various verticals including sports, entertainment, fashion, art, and wellness. Additionally, the role may assist on luxury hospitality event and logistics management at large-scale luxury client activations, as well as support in general administrative and office duty tasks.

COMPENSATION

$70,000-74,000 annually, based on relevant experience and skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborative efforts in the planning and execution of high-end experiential activations from intimate to broadscale, with a focus on sports, entertainment, fashion, art, and wellness
  • Develop and build creative presentations and client pitches alongside senior management, working within templates and creating custom materials
  • Provide comprehensive support to the experiential account team, including but not limited to: research, crafting meeting agendas and recap notes, event data collection, ticket sales & revenue tracking, status reports, overall organization of supply inventory
  • Management of key documents and event collateral: hospitality decks, transportation spread sheets, production reports, activity trackers, training documents, guest lists, itineraries, invitations, signage, menu and seating cards, tickets, event recaps, etc.
  • Communicate with key partners and vendors such as hotel properties, transportation companies, restaurant establishments, venues, staffing agencies, etc. to ensure seamless event execution
  • Manage creative submissions and marketing timelines through the entire approval process with the thorough understanding of brand rules and regulations
  • Assist with financial processes including budget tracking and reconciliation, coding expenses, submitting invoices, and facilitating payments
  • Participate on client conference calls and in-person client meetings
  • On-site event management, ensuring service is impeccable and adhere to best practices standard
  • Monitor and research industry trends, innovations, and competitive landscape; provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements and/or areas of opportunity
  • Maintain knowledge of agency structure and functions, utilizing resources appropriately and efficiently
  • Build full knowledge of agency’s offerings, mission, and vision
  • Establish effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams
  • All other duties as assigned
PROFESSIONAL AND LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience (in addition to internships)
  • Strong presentation/ deck creation and development skills (i.e. Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint)
  • Passion for events, hospitality, luxury lifestyle sectors, and digital marketing and/or strategic communications. Interest/ knowledge in luxury fashion, culture entertainment, wellness, or sports is a plus.
  • This position is client and high net-worth individual consumer facing on-site at events, and requires strong hospitality skills
  • Ability to interact in a collaborative manner

  • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as needed
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills – MAC proficient; Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required); proficient in Photoshop and/ or InDesign; Canva/ Google Slides proficiency required
  • Keen eye for detail combined with passion for accuracy and quality in all work
  • Polished, professional demeanor; projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
