Scion Staffing has been engaged to lead the search for a B2B Senior Account Executive on behalf of our client, a highly respected and established leader in employee benefits administration. Since 1997, this organization has provided innovative and customizable solutions to employer groups nationwide, backed by expert staff and advanced technology. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity (four days remote, one day onsite per week) located at West Tidwell, Houston, TX 77040. Its an exciting chance to drive business growth and cultivate high-impact relationships within a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 + commission, in addition to annual performance-based incentives. A comprehensive benefits package consisting of medica, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, paid holidays and 2 weeks vacation.

The Role:

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Senior Account Executive to help expand B2B sales efforts and cultivate strong relationships with brokers and client partners. The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker with a proven track record in consultative sales and business development, someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence organizational growth while representing a suite of cutting-edge benefit administration services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a growth strategy focused on revenue generation and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify new prospects and understand evolving customer needs.
  • Manage the full sales cyclefrom lead generation and preparation through presentations, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Deliver compelling, value-based presentations to prospective clients and brokers.
  • Promote the organizations solutions and services to new and existing broker networks and employer groups.
  • Prepare detailed sales contracts in compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing communication, feedback, and support throughout and after the sales process.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with clients and partners.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM (e.g., FunnelMaker) and prepare sales and activity reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B business development, sales, or account executive roles within the employee benefits, insurance, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 +commission, in addition to annual performance-based incentives. A comprehensive benefits package consisting of medica, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, paid holidays and 2 weeks vacation.
