Senior Account Executive
Summary

As a Senior Account Executive at Wedgewood Health, you lead with insight and integrity. You are responsible for managing client relationships and guiding projects from concept to completion, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects our values of wonder, truth, and unity.

A tactical role that leads projects independently and serves as a key client contact. Demonstrates a keen understanding of brand strategy, clinical data, and disease state as they relate to tactical objectives. Begins to support strategic thinking and ensures the client business is fiscally managed to meet internal and external financial objectives.

Responsibilities
Financial Management
  • Manages project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with minimal oversight
  • Tracks project budgets with supervision from the senior account team, and reports/shares information with the team on how each project is tracking
  • Ensures all documentation, including estimates, schedules, and status reports, is current
  • Maintains fiscal responsibility including SOW development, monthly reconciliation, invoicing, budget trackers, and all estimates (including approvals and revisions)
  • Begins to demonstrate understanding and acumen with client phasing and internal forecasting
Brand/Account Management Fundamentals
  • Presents a professional and positive image of Wedgewood both internally and externally
  • Owns project briefs and ensures strategic alignment with brand goals
  • Leads the MLR submission process and ensures compliance
  • Works with the PM team on project work plans (Gantt charts) to ensure the input is correct and feeding into forecasting
  • Masters the MLR process and submission preparation – keen knowledge of Veeva
  • Fully understands the MLR compliance aspect of promotion in healthcare advertising and applies that knowledge in routing and submissions
  • Ensures that SPO is kept current with CCRs, status reports, client provided materials, estimates, and materials sent to clients
  • Builds trust internally and externally through transparent, timely communication and consistent follow-through
Brand, Therapeutic Category & Market Acumen
  • Works with the strategy and creative teams to interpret market research insights and apply them to tactical planning
  • Collaborates with creative, strategy, and medical teams to deliver high-quality work
  • Supports and/or mentors junior team members and contributes to team development
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of all key brand clinical data, messaging, and strategic imperatives
  • Evaluates creative to ensure consistency in messaging, credibility, and alignment with brand positioning
