Job summary

Highwire is seeking an Account Director to act as a hands-on strategic lead across health and technology client accounts. You will run standalone social and influencer programs and orchestrate integrated campaigns spanning social, content, paid, and web while collaborating with content, creative, and production teams.

You will manage client relationships, translate objectives into actionable strategies, mentor junior staff, and ensure timely, on-brand delivery with a focus on measurable results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in integrated marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in social strategy, influencer marketing, and/or integrated marketing within an agency environment.
• Experience with health and/or technology clients; cross-sector experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience executing social strategy and influencer marketing programs with tie-ins to broader campaigns.
• Experience briefing and collaborating with creative (design) and production teams.
• Ability to manage client relationships directly beyond tactical execution.
• Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.
• Strong analytics understanding to interpret data and inform recommendations.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Program Execution: Independently manage and execute standalone social and influencer strategies and programs.
• Integrated Campaign Support: Lead integrated campaigns combining social, content, paid, and web efforts.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain day-to-day client contact and build trust with marketing stakeholders.
• Client Needs & Insights: Translate client objectives into actionable social, influencer, and integrated recommendations.
• Creative & Production Collaboration: Brief and collaborate with content, design, and production teams.
• Team Support & Mentorship: Guide junior team members on social and influencer best practices.
• Project Management Oversight: Keep projects on schedule and within budget, handling approvals.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze campaign performance and recommend optimizations.
• Sector Growth Support: Contribute to proposals and pitches for health and tech sectors.
• Process Improvement: Find efficiencies across social, influencer, and integrated streams.
