The Senior Account Director at Healthcare Success is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing key client relationships, driving strategic marketing initiatives, and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction and business growth within the healthcare sector. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, leads cross-functional teams, and contributes to agency growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll be responsible for:

  • Act as the lead point of contact for all client marketing efforts and projects, including digital (SEO, paid search, social media, websites), branding, and integrated campaigns.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans tailored to each client, focusing on long-term relationship building, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.
  • Oversee a portfolio of high-value healthcare accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and maximizing client retention and satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and support account management and project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, digital, media, analytics) to deliver customized, results-driven solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and support agency business development efforts through industry knowledge and client insights.
  • Regularly review and analyze campaign and account performance, providing actionable insights and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Serve as a client advocate, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Represent Healthcare Success at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, promoting the agency’s brand and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Report on account status, client feedback, and market trends to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of account management experience in a healthcare marketing agency or related field, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level role.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns for healthcare clients.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, virtual team environment.
