Job Description

Title: Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines

Location: Fully Remote (Eastern or Central Time Zones)

Book Focus: General, Condos, Construction, Contractors, Hospitality, Property, Real Estate, Restaurants

About the Role:

Assist the account team with daily administrative tasks, customer service, and meeting performance standards related to production and quality. Ensure accuracy to avoid liability from errors or omissions. Responsibilities include resolving routine administrative and customer service issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Support: Assist in directing daily activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
  • Office Support: Assist with general office tasks and administration.
  • Policy Processing: Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, policy releases, check requests, invoices, finance agreements, summaries, loss runs, MVRs, ID cards, certificates, and binders.
  • Task Management: Identify and reconcile billing inaccuracies, review policy forms, prepare submissions, online rating, proposals, AOR letters, and support new/renewal workflows.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate data in agency systems.
  • Activity Monitoring: Ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Communication: Keep the team informed of workload and issues.
  • Service Excellence: Provide proactive, responsive service.
  • Performance Monitoring: Meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Culture Promotion: Participate in team building and foster a positive environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Adopt best practices.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on policies and procedures.
  • Professional Development: Enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • 2+ years of industry experience or 5+ years in related customer service roles.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.

  • Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
