Job summary

Unió Digital, based in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Lead Physical Security Technician to lead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems in commercial environments. You will guide small crews, interact with clients, and ensure projects meet standards.

The role targets experienced security professionals eager to work in a fast-paced, innovative setting and emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience installing and servicing commercial access control, video surveillance, or intrusion systems.
• Proficiency with access control door hardware including electronic strikes, maglocks, REX, sensors, and control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical documentation, and manuals.
• Able to distinguish color codes.
• Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair electronic access control systems, readers, strikes, maglocks, sensors, and control boards.
• Install and service commercial video surveillance systems including IP cameras and NVRs.
• Install, program, and maintain intrusion detection and alarm systems.
• Program and configure security platforms like Avigilon Alta, Rhombus, Avigilon Unity, and DMP.
• Read floor plans, blueprints, diagrams, and cut sheets; maintain accurate installation records.
