Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Senior Access Associate to support the Lipson Cancer Institute - RGH in Rochester, NY. This role leads a team of access staff, guiding patient access activities and ensuring top-notch service.

You will handle registration, verification, scheduling, insurance checks, and billing tasks while maintaining high-quality customer care standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer Service: Manage incoming calls and provide necessary information; greet patients and/or their representatives and provide direction as needed; schedule patient appointments; interview patients and/or their representatives to obtain necessary information
• Registration & Verification: Complete the registration process for patients and/or their representatives; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain necessary pre-certifications/authorizations when applicable
• Billing & Payments: Collect/process co-payments, deductibles and/or other types of payments; provide cost estimates when applicable; review charges in charge review WQs for completeness and accuracy

Location : 1415 Portland Avenue Suite 190 Rochester, NY 14621

Hours Per Week : 40 - Full-time

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-430 (Occasionally 8:30am - 5pm) Must be available for both shifts
