Qualifications

• Experience with academic personnel titles, series, and rank as it relates to merit and promotion policies and procedures.
• Experience in navigating a large, complex organization to resolve problems and troubleshoot.
• Demonstrated experience with financial management including budget and report preparation, analysis and forecasting across multiple funding sources.
• Experience with grant, project and database management.
• Ability to oversee contracts and coordination with sponsors and university regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial reporting of the department.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for department operations.
• Develop budgets, narratives, and other supporting documents for grants.
• Coordinate quality control checks and review all grant materials.
• Monitor project progress and report delays; liaise with PI and Office of Sponsored Programs.
