Job summary

University of Texas at Austin’s Red McCombs School of Business seeks a Senior Academic Program Coordinator to oversee logistics, advising, and strategic program implementation. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage onsite logistics and operations (e.g., lodging, catering, classroom space, program events), staying within budget and ensuring timely, accurate, and quality execution of duties.
  • Advise students individually and/or with groups regarding academic requirements, appropriate class selection, academic policies and procedures, and campus resources.
  • Communicate with and develop rapport with students, faculty, staff, campus partners and external vendors.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with program leadership and cross-functional team members.
  • Provide feedback on current processes and supports planning and implementation of process improvements.
  • Train, supervise, mentor and evaluate junior program staff, both formally and informally as assigned.
  • Develop and manage event schedules.
  • Prepare orientation communications and materials.
  • Triage email inquiries, proactively and independently researches matters.
  • Proactively communicate information across multiple team members and functional areas.
  • Other related functions as assigned.
