Job summary

Greenhill School seeks an experienced and thoughtful educator to serve as the inaugural Associate Head of School for Academics. Reporting directly to the Head of School, this senior leadership role provides strategic guidance for the academic program across Preschool through Upper School.

The Associate Head fosters instructional excellence, curricular integrity, and a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring that day-to-day operations reflect the School’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in education or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of administrative leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading curriculum, instruction, and faculty development in independent schools.
• Experience supervising and evaluating educational leaders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the school's academic programs across divisions.
• Supervise division heads; conduct annual evaluations and guide professional growth.
• Oversee curriculum coherence across Preschool through Upper School.
• Advance academic operations, scheduling, and accreditation processes.
• Collaborate to align equity, inclusion, and instructional practice with mission.
