Job summary

Bowie State University seeks an IT Systems Analyst (Contingent II-Grant Funded) to administer and optimize core university systems, including the LMS and analytics platforms. This senior role requires expertise in systems integration, data analytics, and accessibility to support teaching, learning, and institutional operations.

The position emphasizes collaboration with faculty, staff, leadership, vendors, and external partners to ensure secure, reliable, and highly available services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field is required.
• Five years of relevant experience is required.
• Advanced degree and higher-education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain and support critical enterprise academic systems including LMS.
• Design and optimize systems integrations, data workflows and APIs.
• Develop and support analytics, data warehousing and reporting with Power BI.
• Provide technical leadership on accessibility and instructional technology initiatives.
