Job summary

The University of California, San Francisco invites applications for an Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with microvascular training to join a busy academic FPRS practice at UCSF.

The appointee will provide clinical leadership, teach fellows and residents, participate in oncologic care as part of a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to research. California medical license and fellowship completed by start date required.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree.
• Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency.
• Completion of Fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery by start date.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
• California Medical License by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with microvascular expertise.
• Manage a busy academic practice in collaboration with two senior surgeons.
• Instruct fellows and residents at all levels.
• Engage in oncologic care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to research collaborations, with opportunities to pursue basic science or clinical projects.
