Job description

Overview

Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at UCSF. Seek an academic facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with microvascular training to join a renowned FPRS practice. The focus includes microvascular head and neck reconstruction, treatment of facial paralysis, Mohs reconstruction, cosmetic facial surgery/rhinoplasty, and gender-affirming facial surgery. The selected candidate will join two experienced surgeons in a busy academic practice. Extensive experience and/or training with cancer is required. Teaching excellence is expected, as the candidate will instruct fellows and residents at all levels. The Division participates in oncologic care through the Helen Diller Family NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and the UCSF Bakar Cancer Hospital at Mission Bay. Research collaboration is encouraged, with potential support for basic science or clinical research in this role.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $130,200 - $393,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan with eligibility for additional compensation.
