Job summary

The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UCSF seeks outstanding candidates for a full-time academic plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a strong record of patient care. Candidates must be board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery; microsurgery training is preferred.

Primary duties include general and microsurgical reconstruction and teaching across UCSF Health campuses.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in plastic surgery by ABPS.
• Microsurgery training is preferred.
• Experience educating surgery residents and medical students.

Responsibilities

• Provide general plastic and microsurgical reconstruction care.
• Serve as wound care director at UCSF Parnassus campus.
• Support call coverage at UCSF Health locations, including ZSFG.
• Engage in residency and student teaching activities.
