Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience.
• Proven ability to advise and support engineering students.
• Experience with advising software like Degree Works, SAGE, and Athena.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates advising sessions with holistic student engagement.
• Develops strategies to build rapport with students and campus partners.
• Explains degree requirements and uses Degree Works, SAGE, and Athena.
• References and referrals to campus resources and follows up on outcomes.
• Collaborates with students to align degree progress with goals.
• Maintains accurate records and communicates programs and policies clearly.
