About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior ABOR Consultant to support a major investment management technology implementation project.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Investment Accounting, General Ledger (GL), Alternative Investments Accounting and Hedge Accounting, alongside hands‑on experience delivering system implementations from configuration through to go-live.

This is a senior, delivery-focused position requiring someone who can manage project scope, engage with stakeholders and take ownership of technical and functional deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support ABOR configuration across Investment Accounting, General Ledger, Alternatives and Hedge Accounting.

• Manage project scope, client expectations and key deliverables throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Perform hands‑on system configuration and unit testing.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshooting and issue resolution.

• Coordinate go-live activities, deployment and post‑implementation support (early care).

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience in ABOR (Accounting Book of Record) within investment management or financial services.

• Strong functional knowledge of Investment Accounting and General Ledger.

• Experience in Alternative Investments Accounting and Hedge Accounting.

• Previous experience implementing or configuring investment management platforms, ideally SimCorp Dimension.

• Proven ability to manage client delivery while remaining hands‑on with configuration and testing.

• Experience across the full implementation lifecycle, including UAT, deployment and early care.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Must be comfortable working Japan/APAC business hours.
