Job summary

Tiger Field Exam Services, a division of Tiger Valuation Services, LLC, seeks an Asset-Based Lending Field Examiner to perform remote and onsite examinations of collateral and related financials. You’ll identify risks and provide data-driven recommendations to lenders across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
• 4+ years experience in asset-based lending field examination.
• Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with AssetWriter, AssetReader, or similar data-mining tools a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote and onsite field examinations of prospective and existing asset-based borrowers (approximately 25% travel), reviewing collateral records and financial reports to assess the bank’s collateral position.
• Document engagement findings in clear, concise and insightful manner, identifying areas of potential exposure and providing actionable recommendations
• Verify that collateral is properly reported, monitored, and managed in accordance with loan documentation, borrowing base definitions, and lender requirements.
• Lead engagements, serving as the primary contact for both the lender and subject company while delivering consistent, high-quality customer service. Manage exam timeline and delegate tasks to assist examiners while holding responsibility for final report.
• Train Entry to mid-level staff while fostering a collaborative and positive team environment that enhances engagement execution, knowledge sharing, and overall team effectiveness.
• Present applicable results both verbally and written to Lender, Subject company and management.
