Job summary

7Th Sky Tech is seeking an experienced Ab Initio Developer to join the data engineering team. The role focuses on Ab Initio ETL development, data integration, and batch processing across diverse systems.

You will design, build, test, and support scalable data pipelines, work with large datasets, and collaborate with Business Analysts and QA teams to ensure data quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Ab Initio development experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2 or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and batch processing.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL applications and data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize Ab Initio graphs, plans, components, and workflows.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processes.
• Schedule and monitor production jobs and troubleshoot failures.
• Prepare technical documentation for ETL workflows and data processes.
• Support deployment activities across development, QA, and production environments.
