Job summary

FGS LLC in California seeks a technical AV support professional responsible for on-site AV architecture at Office of Space Launch, Vandenberg SFB. You will install and maintain complex AVMM systems and LAN components, troubleshoot audio, video, switching and control systems, and discuss project examples with references.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, high school diploma, and five years' O&M AV experience; occasional night/weekend work; proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint;

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass CI poly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum five years’ experience in operation and maintenance of AV equipment.
• Experience installing low voltage wiring, fiber/copper, and AV systems.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as mission dictates.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain functionality of A/V systems (identify, troubleshoot, and resolve failures).
• Train on-site personnel in use of A/V and conference room equipment; assist in problem resolution.
• Maintain detailed troubleshooting logs of failures and resolutions.
• Maintain PMI log and periodic maintenance schedules.
• Provide issue resolution within one week or notify Project Lead with progress documentation.
• Ensure IA equipment risk mitigation; run IA scans and update system software as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory lists and record serial numbers for new/replaced equipment.
• Share drawings, documentation and lessons learned with team at other sites.
• Provide monthly status reports and PMI logs to supervisor.
