Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Solutions/Systems Engineer to design, implement, and sustain audiovisual systems supporting Special Operations. The position is onsite in Fayetteville, NC, and requires active TS/SCI clearance with hands-on AV engineering expertise.

You will design, install, test, and document AV solutions, manage installations, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure secure, reliable operation of mission-critical systems in accordance with CTS standards.

Qualifications

• Clearance TS/SCI required or active pursuit.
• AVIXA CTS certification or must obtain within 180 days of employment.
• Strong technical expertise in engineering principles and AV system design/integration.
• Proven project management and scheduling proficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced AV systems tailored to client needs and mission requirements.
• Conduct site surveys to assess environmental factors and infrastructure readiness.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation (wiring diagrams, equipment specs, installation guides, timelines).
• Provide hands-on end-user training and develop user manuals for system utilization.
• Lead installation teams and coordinate cross-functional collaboration for timely project delivery.
• Ensure CTS compliance and maintain quality assurance across all deliverables.
