Job summary
The Lead A&P Technician at Bombardier, based in Tucson (Learjet Inc), will troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft. You will document work per manuals and regulations and contribute to time estimates and service orders using SAP or equivalent systems.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, 2 years in corporate jet operations, 1 year on Bombardier aircraft, Engine Run & Taxi qualification, and proven leadership
Qualifications
- 8+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- 2+ years corporate/commercial jet experience
- 1+ year Bombardier aircraft model experience
- Engine Run & Taxi qualification on Bombardier aircraft
- Demonstrated leadership and planning abilities
- Familiar with Bombardier installation of all systems
Responsibilities
- Adhere to general work requirements (factory, shop, hangar)
- Comply with Environmental / Health / Safety policies
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and maintain customer aircraft
- Perform and document work per manuals and regulations
- Operate ground support equipment as required
- Assist with engine removal / installation
- Assist other maintenance disciplines
- Assist with fuel/de-fuel of aircraft
- Train, coach and support other employees
- May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA
- Perform other duties as assigned
