Job summary

PHI Health is seeking an A&P-licensed mechanic with 2+ years of Certified Aircraft Mechanic experience to service our helicopter fleet. Expect field-based work, travel between bases, night shifts when required, and a competitive compensation package including a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Hold an FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant.
• At least 2 years of Maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic.
• Possess basic skills in communications.
• Computer skills required.
• Must pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam, drug screening and background screen.
• Sheet metal repair and/or Avionics troubleshooting/repair skills.
• Frequent travel and potential night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements to maintain airworthiness.
• Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations requiring schedule changes or extra manpower.
• Maintain field-base aircraft and stock levels; ensure safety and security of assets.
• Prepare reports, inventories, and certify on aircraft logs that work meets FAA, manufacturer, and PHI Health requirements.
• Maintain RAMCO entries for work packages and status sheets.
• Communicate with Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and others to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain inventory and recommend level changes; manage tools and calibrations.
• Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
