Job summary

PHI Health in Eloy, AZ seeks an experienced A&P-licensed aircraft mechanic to maintain our helicopter fleet. You will review maintenance needs, perform airframe and powerplant tasks, and ensure airworthiness for emergencies.

Requirements include FAA A&P certificate (Airframe & Powerplant) and at least 2 years of certified maintenance, plus ability to lift up to 100 pounds, pass pre-placement exams, and travel as needed. Night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Hold FAA A&P certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
• Able to pass pre-placement physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Willing to travel frequently and work night shifts when required.
• Strong communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review daily maintenance/inspection requirements to maintain airworthiness.
• Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations affecting schedule or manpower.
• Maintain aircraft at field bases and manage stock levels for repairs.
• Ensure safety and security of company assets at bases.
• Certify work on aircraft logs and inspection forms per FAA/PHI Health standards.
• Enter data in RAMCO and coordinate with teams for timely completion.
• Maintain inventory and calibration of tools; perform related duties.
