Job summary

PHI Health in Livingston, TX is seeking an A&P-licensed aircraft mechanic with 2+ years of certified maintenance experience to service our helicopter fleet, ensuring airworthiness and readiness for emergency response.

The role requires FAA certification, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work night shifts and travel as needed. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $15,000, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA A&P certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Willingness to travel and work night shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to maintain airworthiness.
• Notify Lead Mechanic of schedule changes and need for additional manpower.
• Maintain aircraft at field bases, manage stock levels and requisitions for repairs.
• Certify on logs and forms that work meets FAA and PHI Health standards.
• Record entries in RAMCO and update work packages and status sheets.
• Coordinate with Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other teams for timely completion.
• Maintain inventory levels and calibrate special tools per schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
