Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to inspect, modify and repair aircraft at our Miami base. The role requires leading mechanics on advanced tasks, reading blueprints and technical orders, and coordinating materials and tooling for scheduled maintenance.

Applicants must hold a FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate, a high school diploma or equivalent, be fluent in English, and able to work rotating shifts including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required and must be able to read/write English.
• Experience maintaining transport category aircraft.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot discrepancies and repair company aircraft.
• Perform inspections per procedures and documented orders.
• Read blueprints, drawings, schematics and technical orders.
• Coordinate materials and tooling for assigned shift.
• Lead mechanics on advanced tasks and mentor crew.
• Ensure aircraft documentation is accurate prior to departure.
