Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is hiring a Lead Technician, Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) for the Challenger program on the Evening Shift at the Hartford Service Center. You will perform complex repairs on aircraft systems, assist in service orders with SAP, and coach other team members while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, 1 year with corporate/commercial jet operations, and an active A&P certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year corporate/commercial jet experience.
• Current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
• Assist in creation of service orders with SAP or applicable operating systems.
• May assist in complete engine and / or APU runs, as required.
• Train, coach and support other employees.
• May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA.
