Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Windsor Locks, CT, seeks a Supervisor, Operations - Airframe & Powerplant (A&P), Global to lead aircraft maintenance operations. The role includes supervision, safety compliance, and coordinating maintenance across sites to ensure timely aircraft readiness.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of heavy/line maintenance experience, 2+ years in leadership, and an A&P certificate under FAR part 65. The position supports flexible/hybrid work policies where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance.
• Minimum of 2 years leadership/supervisory experience (Aircraft Maintenance preferred).
• A&P Certificate or certificated under FAR part 65.
• Working knowledge of applicable FAA regulations (e.g., Part 91, 121, 135, 145).
• Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance inspection programs for jet aircraft.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety rules as they apply to aircraft maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements.
• Supervise safety/security program and related audits.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities and personnel decisions incl. scheduling and leave.
• Coordinate unscheduled aircraft maintenance at off-site location.
• Manage resources to maximize productivity and minimize DOI; support engineering requests.
• Act on behalf of Customer Project Manager when needed.
• Coordinate tooling and parts with UMT; aircraft return-to-service support.
• Engage in BAS Network Database and transfer SAP Work Orders.
