Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Senior Inspector A&P for the Special Missions program in Brunswick, GA. This second shift role requires an FAA A&P license and extensive experience in avionics, electrical, and mechanical maintenance, as well as aircraft inspection.

The position focuses on quality control inspections to ensure airworthiness and compliant documentation, with coordination across mechanical, electrical, and inspection tasks and ongoing mentoring of technicians in documentation

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
A&P license required.
8 years aviation maintenance experience including 2 years Gulfstream aircraft experience and 2 years aircraft inspection experience.

Responsibilities

Perform Quality Control inspections on aircraft and components.
Complete inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs to FAA approved data.
Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting.
Maintain accurate records of work performed on aircraft/components.
Coordinate with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced timely.
Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy before return to service.
