Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Senior Inspector A&P Special Missions for the Brunswick, GA location. This role requires performing quality control inspections on aircraft and components, ensuring airworthiness and proper documentation, and coordinating inspection requirements during maintenance.

The ideal candidate holds an A&P license, with extensive aviation maintenance and aircraft inspection experience, and can work the Weekend Days shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8 years aviation maintenance experience incl. 2 years Gulfstream aircraft experience and 2 years of aircraft inspection experience.
• A&P (FAA) license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on aircraft/components.
• Complete inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to FAA data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements during maintenance or outfitting.
• Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records of work performed.
• Coordinate with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records in a timely manner.
• Audit maintenance documentation for accuracy before return to service.
• Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to flight activities.
• Mentor technicians on documentation.
