Job summary

MLR Associates is seeking a senior 5G Packet Core Design Authority to own end-to-end architecture, solution design, and governance for next-generation mobile core networks. You will work across Europe with telecom executives, engineering leads, and business development to enable scalable, low-latency networks.

The role requires 10+ years in telecom architecture, SA/NSA expertise, and strong documentation and collaboration skills for delivery across multiple vendors and platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in telecom network architecture and packet core design.
• Expertise in SA/NSA 5G core architectures (AMF/SMF/UPF/PCF).
• Experience with EPG2/EPG3, SACC/PCC, SRR to ITC transitions.
• Knowledge of Network Slicing and 3GPP features (URSP/RedCap).
• Strong governance, documentation, and cross-vendor delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end 5G packet core design and governance.
• Oversee migration paths for EPG2 to EPG3 and core upgrades.
• Design SACC/PCC frameworks and SRR to ITC transitions.
• Architect Network Slicing and CUPS topologies.
• Collaborate with telecom executives and vendors during rollout.
