E-Space is seeking a Core Software Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to design and build 5G Core Network Functions for satellite-based IoT. You will work on NAS, PFCP, GTP-U, N4/N11 interfaces, and service-based architectures using C++ and Python on Linux.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
• 8+ years software development in telecom or networking.
• 5+ years with 5G Core or LTE/4G EPC.
• Proficient in C++ and Python with strong architecture skills.
• Deep knowledge of 3GPP specs and RAN/5G protocols.
• Strong distributed systems and microservices experience.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and test tracking.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain 5G Core Network Functions and service interfaces.
• Implement 3GPP protocols (NAS, PFCP, GTP-U, HTTP/2) and N4/N11 interfaces.
• Build microservices with REST-like APIs and distributed design patterns.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and analyze control-plane signaling.
• Develop network probes for real-time monitoring and protocol analysis.
• Create automated test frameworks for functional/integration testing.
• Generate documentation and collaborate with leaders and teams.
• Perform performance analysis and optimize network configurations.
• Support releases from testing through deployment.
